By choosing MRC’s Legal Nurse Consultants for medical record reviews, clients enjoy the advantage of advanced medical knowledge distilled into a readable, customized work product. MRC nurses are recruited from wide-ranging fields of specialization and have a minimum of 10 years clinical experience. Using sophisticated understanding of the litigation process, our nurses review, analyze, and summarize all relevant medical documents.
When our clients use WiseFiles™ in conjunction with our nurse review services, they benefit from time and cost savings. Nurse work product is securely protected and available online in real time. Significant references in the reviews may be hyperlinked to the actual documents, allowing simultaneous viewing of the records with the work product.
The work product format can be tailored to your specific needs. Each significant medical event is included in the chronology, identified by treater, facility, and page number in the medical record. Accompanying each chronology is a Summary Letter: a brief analytic narrative defining medical-legal issues, areas of potential strength and vulnerability, and suggestions for strategy and other resources available. The Summary Letter succinctly states the medical-legal essence of the case.
MRC offers review of individual cases – medical negligence and personal injury – and full support of mass tort litigation – product liability and environmental exposure.
