MRC’s Center of Excellence (COE) is committed to constantly adjusting focus towards the goals of the customer, and assuring that productivity and accuracy go hand-in-hand with a responsive line of communication with the client. COE’s key goals are Training, Process Improvement and Compliance.

Training

MRC’s COE training programs include the design, development, and delivery of all non-clinical MRC curriculums, and support ongoing training to help employees improve on their existing skill sets and develop new skills identified as beneficial to their roles.

Through COE’s training and development programs, we serve our clients by not only ensuring their projects are staffed by employees committed to professional growth and operational excellence, but by providing on-going development and training that ensures consistent consultative and processing expertise.

Process Improvement

Through COE’s focus on continuous process improvements, MRC’s client-facing employees can better concentrate on the day-to-day needs of the client, and are freed up to make proactive, instead of reactive recommendations.

MRC’s COE is informed by Lean Sigma principles, which have solid application to document management and record retrieval processes.

  • Lean Sigma methodologies facilitate the identification of what clients need and value. This information can then be used to prioritize improvement efforts
  • Lean Sigma  identifies areas of inefficiency, which opens the door to cost reductions through elimination of waste and duplication of effort
  • Lean Sigma enhances continuous improvement of quality and efficiency through statistical analysis
  • Lean Sigma focuses on measurable improvements, including hard and soft dollar savings

Compliance

The COE ensures MRC’s processes and procedures are in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
